Dear Sisters,
Every year at Chosen, God shows up in countless ways that our human minds cannot begin to grasp. Through his loving grace and kindness, he draws us nearer. He increases our faith and restores our hope, bringing healing, renewal, and revival to our hearts.
This time last year, he began to draw my attention to the most spectacular natural phenomena: awe-inspiring rainbows, gold-rimmed clouds in sunsets, hope-filled majestic sunrises. They created a fresh, child-like wonder in me and were worthy of offering praise to the One who created them. One morning, I was meditating on
this scripture:
Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking (Ezekiel 1:28 NIV).
The beauty we see on earth is merely a shadow of what is to come. The reason the Chosen Women’s Conference is so special is because God pulls back the veil to reveal himself, marking us with his everlasting glory. After collaborating with the team, we knew the theme for this year’s Chosen was resounding GLORY!
These glimpses of glory on earth SHOULD make us stop and wonder, think about our awesome Creator and what he has prepared for those who love him. As we pause to take in the astounding visuals, they should also help tune our ears to hear his voice more clearly. He wants to speak to us!
Would you pause to do three things?
1. Ask God to show you his glory, like Moses did in Exodus 33:18.
2. Meditate on Psalm 24. The King of Glory is opening up ancient gates. Give
him full access to all the deep places in your heart.
3. Turn to the Lord, as Paul says in 2 Corinthians 3:16–18.
May he take you from glory to glory.
Blessings & love,
