Baskets of Hope is associated with the Widow's Ministry of Bread of Life Mission. Our staff meet weekly with a group of 11 widows for discipleship, community building, and finanical management education. We partner with the widows in financial earning by purchasing baskets made by them, re-selling the baskets in the U.S., and returning the funds to the women and the ministry.

I’ve always loved the macrame style. Being a NICU nurse during Covid, I needed a creative outlet that doubled as a stress reliever. I signed up for a macrame Zoom class, fell in love with the “grandma skill” (as everyone reminds me it is), and started making earrings! From handmade wall hangings on thrifted vintage baskets, to plant hangers, keychains and pacifier clips, I believe everyone, especially boho lovers, can find something they like. A portion of my proceeds go towards donating baby items to the West Ashley Roper St. Francis NICU.
Kristin Parker founded The Two Thirteen Shop in 2016 to share the beautiful handwork of artisans she connected with over the years. While living in Nepal for over a decade, Kristin helped three dear friends start “Blessed Hope Nepal,” the first locally owned women’s business in their community, which is committed to fair wages and ethical trade. This shop brings their creativity and other artisan-made products from around the world to you. Every purchase directly impacts the artisans, their families and their communities.
We are just a couple of small-town, middle-aged kids, living on a prayer and a God-sized dream to bring people together through the gift of creativity and cultivating community…and obviously we enjoy helping things grow. The redeeming story of God’s love is throughout the details of this collective. We hope that you find healing and comfort in Jesus, like we have.
